Hi everyone! This month I'm one of the Guest Designers at Sweet Stamp Shop, and today is the second day of the March release.
For the three stamp sets being shown today, I used the Alpha Tabs set. It's a cool set--the individual letters remind me of mini alpha stickers. There are a few sentiments in the set, too, which is what I used on this card:
This was a fun card to make. :) I started with this fab woodgrain paper from Simon Says Stamp (I'm officially addicted to this paper!) and splattered some Mr. Huey's.
While the spray ink was drying, I stamped and fussy cut the "happy" and "birthday" from the Alpha Tabs set. After that, I punched some BasicGrey confetti and added some other embellishments and stitching. Here's a close-up:
Isn't it fun? It looks pretty haphazard, but I have to admit that it took me forever to pick the embellishments and get the layout right. I'm ridiculously slow at crafting--hee hee.
Be sure to check out the Sweet Stamp Shop blog to see the rest of the cards from the other Guest Designers. A big thanks to Nicole for having me as a Guest Designer this month! I'll be showing more cards from the release in a couple of weeks.
