A to Z...You!

Hi everyone! ***If you're looking for my Season's Givings blog hop post, please click HERE.

It's the first CAS-ual Fridays challenge of 2014! This week's challenge is about choosing a word that describes what you hope for the new year.

Here's my card:

CFC 125 A to Z...You

Yeah, yeah, I kind of cheated and instead of using one word, I used 26. :) I picked this image because I felt like it showed great words that I want to aspire to be this year.

I used a digital image from Kim Geiser (love her stuff!) and colored it with Copics. I was holding my breath the whole time I was coloring--some of those lines and dots are small!

Here's a close-up:

CFC 125 A to Z, You!

The face in the "You" kills me--it is so cute!

The winner of this week's CAS-ual Fridays Challenge will win a prize from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps!

You can link up your projects HERE. I hope you'll play along!

Have a great weekend! Thanks for stopping by.

  15. Arrrgh ... as I was clicking over to your post, I held my breath, hoping that you printed off this colorful word collage and made a card out of it. I knew that wasn't going to be the case, but the alternative is that you HAND COLORED it all. Holy smokes, that is so impressive!!! I just can't get over it. Hope you had a wonderful New Years, my friend!

  17. I would need more than 26 words to describe how amazing this card is, and then another bunch of words to convey how much I love it. This one is a showstopper Jocelyn. Totally blown my mind!!

  20. Can you help me with something? I love the idea of digital stamps but I'm pretty certain I don't have the right printer. What do you use? I don't think the thick cardstock can go through mine...

    1. Hi Katy! I use an Epson--I have two. My Artisan 730 is great and does feed thick (110lb.) cardstock. I don't think they make that particular Artisan anymore, but it might be worth checking out a newer version. If I'm not coloring with Copics, I often use matte photo paper. It adds another layer, but the photo paper is great if you're printing colors. I hope this info helps!
