For today's card, I decided to show a non-wedding use for the stamp sets and I wanted to show the store's awesome cardstock, too. Here's the birthday card I came up with:
To make the chevrons, I cut what felt like 100 1/4" strips and glued them to a cardstock backing. Then I die cut the strips with the MFT chevron die. I was trying to get them to line up just right so the darker orange was in the center, but I think I would have had to cut 3/16" to get it to work. I love these cardstock colors!
I stamped the cake from the Down the Aisle set and overstamped the sentiment from the Wedded Bliss set to make it a birthday card. Here's a close-up:
