A Dandy St. Patty's Day

Happy Wednesday! I'm joining up with the amazingly talented Karen Baker for

I can't wait to see what Karen made with the same stamp set and sketch! We're both using Practicing Creativity Design's You're Dandy set and joining up with the RetroSketches challenge. Here's the sketch:

And here's what I came up with:

You're Dandy!

I used the sun rays and the sentiment from the set. And yes, the stitching is supposed to be that crazy. I still can't decide if it's a flower or a tree, but I guess it doesn't really matter. Here's a close up:

I have to give a huge thanks to Karen! She's been so supportive ever since I started my blog, and she's incredibly inspiring. Thanks, Karen!

Have a great day!

  17. Those sun rays just make me happy :) Love the embossing! And the crazy stitching is perfect - I'm thinking of it as a flower, a dandelion, because then that makes the sentiment punny and that makes me happy too ;) lol

  18. What a fun card! I love your clear embossing and your crazy stitching! :> BTW I see you live in Sioux Falls, well I must share with you that in Sept 2010 when my 3 friends and I were traveling from Winnipeg to Minneapolis and ended up in Sioux Falls!!!! It's not like we had never driven to Minneapolis, and it wasn't our first time doing it together! We missed the turn at Fargo! :> Do you ever go to Scrapfest in Mall of America? :> You should come this year!
